Strata Foto 3D CX2 Tryout is the free, limited-time trial version of Strata’s specialized photogrammetry software. The software allows designers to generate fully textured 3D models by taking standard digital photographs of real-world objects. Key Capabilities
Photogrammetry Engine: Reconstructs 3D assets from a minimum of 15 overlapping photos taken from different angles around an object.
Organic Asset Focus: Built specifically to capture complex, irregular geometries that are traditionally difficult to model by hand, such as handmade items, fabrics, and organic shapes.

Photo Acquisition: Import standard digital camera photos into the software as thumbnails.
Masking: Use built-in auto-masking or manual brush tools to separate the target object from its background.
Geometry Generation: Use a printed 3D mat marker beneath the object (or manual feature points) so the engine can orient the cameras and build the 3D mesh.

The “Tryout” package is primarily meant for evaluation. It contains the complete software interface, including the main workspace, mask editing tools, and project wizard dialogs. However, it imposes strict export blocks or watermarks on the resulting 3D models and textures until a full retail license is purchased.
